Margarita Levieva was born on February 9, 1980, in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg, Russia). At the age of 11, she immigrated to the United States with her mother and twin brother, settling in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York City. Prior to acting, she was a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Levieva began her acting career with guest appearances in television series, including “Law & Order: Trial by Jury” in 2005. She also appeared in the Fox sitcom “Vanished” in 2006.
