Alison Elizabeth Larter (born February 28, 1976) is an American actress. She was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, to Margaret Larter, a realtor, and Danforth Larter, a trucking executive. She attended Carusi Middle School and Cherry Hill High School West before briefly attending Model Academy of Cherry Hill at age 13. Her modeling career took her around the world before transitioning into acting.
Larter began her acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in television shows such as “Suddenly Susan” and “Chicago Hope.” Her breakthrough role came in the 1999 film “Varsity Blues,” where she played Darcy Sears. This role helped to establish her as a recognizable face in Hollywood.
