Adria Arjona Torres (born April 25, 1992) is a Puerto Rican actress. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and spent much of her childhood traveling with her father, Ricardo Arjona, a Guatemalan singer-songwriter. This experience exposed her to a variety of cultures and environments. She eventually moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Arjona began her acting career with minor roles in television series. Her early work includes appearances in episodes of shows like “Unforgettable” (2014), “Person of Interest” (2015), and “Narcos” (2015).
Arjona gained wider recognition for her role as Emily in the second season of the HBO anthology series “True Detective” (2015). She then starred as Dani Silva in the short-lived but critically acclaimed NBC series “Emerald City” (2017), a reimagining of the “Wizard of Oz” story. She also played Anathema Device in the Amazon Prime Video adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s “Good Omens” (2019), further solidifying her presence in the industry.
