Deborah Ann Woll was born on February 7, 1985, in Brooklyn, New York City. She attended Packer Collegiate Institute before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Woll began her acting career with guest appearances in television series such as “Life,” “ER,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “My Name Is Earl,” “The Mentalist,” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Her breakthrough role came in 2008 when she was cast as Jessica Hamby in the HBO drama series “True Blood.”
Woll is best known for her portrayal of Jessica Hamby in “True Blood” (2008-2014), a role which garnered her significant recognition and critical acclaim.
