Krysten Alyse Ritter was born on December 16, 1981, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. She grew up on a beef cattle farm near Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. She began her career as a model at age 15.
Ritter’s early career focused on modeling, working in cities such as New York and Philadelphia. She appeared in print advertisements and runway shows before transitioning to acting.
