Judith Therese Evans (born July 20, 1975), professionally known as Judy Greer, is an American actress. She was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, to Rich Evans, a mechanical engineer, and Mollie Ann Greer, a hospital administrator and former nun. Greer graduated from Churchill High School in Livonia. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre from DePaul University in 1997.
Greer began her acting career in the late 1990s, initially appearing in minor roles in television and film. Her early film credits include “Stricken” (1998) and “Kissing a Fool” (1998). She gained wider recognition for her role as Fern Mayo/Vylette in the 1999 film “Jawbreaker.”
