Elisabeth Rohm was born on April 28, 1973, in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her parents divorced when she was eight, and she moved with her mother to New York City. Rohm attended St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware, and later Sarah Lawrence College, where she majored in European History and English Literature.
Rohm began her acting career in the late 1990s, securing guest roles in television series. Her early work included appearances in shows like “Law & Order” and “One Life to Live”.
Rohm gained significant recognition for her role as Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn in the NBC legal drama “Law & Order.” She appeared in 85 episodes from 2001 to 2005. This role provided her with widespread exposure and established her as a prominent actress.
