Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born on April 10, 1992, in Westminster, London, England. She is the daughter of Louise Fawkner-Corbett and Chris Ridley. She has two older sisters, Poppy and Kika-Rose, and two half-sisters. Ridley attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Hertfordshire, graduating in 2010.
Prior to her breakthrough role, Ridley appeared in minor roles in several British television programs, including Youngers (2013), Toast of London (2013), Silent Witness (2014), Mr Selfridge (2014), and Casualty (2014). She also appeared in the short film Lifesaver (2013) and the music video for Wiley’s song “Lights On” (2013).
