Pom Klementieff was born on May 3, 1986, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Her mother is Korean, and her father was French-Russian. She spent her childhood in Canada and France. Klementieff took acting classes at Cours Florent in Paris.
Klementieff began her acting career in French cinema. Her early roles included appearances in films such as “Après l’hiver” and “Sans rancune!”. She gained wider recognition for her role as Marie in the French film “Loup” (2009).
Klementieff’s breakthrough role came with her portrayal of Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
