Alexa Davalos (born Alexa Davalos Dunas on May 28, 1982) is an American actress. She was born in Paris, France, to actress Melissa Dunas and photographer Jeff Dunas. Her maternal grandfather was actor Richard Davalos. She has Ashkenazi Jewish (from her maternal grandfather) and Sephardi Jewish (from her maternal grandmother) ancestry.
Davalos began her acting career with stage performances, eventually transitioning to television and film. She moved to New York City as a teenager to pursue acting.
