Early Life and Education
Andrea Louise Riseborough was born on November 20, 1981, in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, England. She was raised in Whitley Bay. Riseborough attended Newcastle Church High School before training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, graduating in 2005.
Career Beginnings
Riseborough began her career in British television, appearing in series such as Party Animals (2007) and The Devil’s Whore (2008). She also garnered attention for her stage performances, including her role as Isabella in Measure for Measure at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
