Arielle Caroline Kebbel was born on February 19, 1985, in Winter Park, Florida. She is the daughter of Sheri Kebbel, a talent manager and owner of a production company. Kebbel graduated from Crenshaw School in Los Angeles. Before pursuing acting, she was a model and participated in the 1999 Miss Florida Teen USA beauty pageant. She deferred enrollment at the University of Missouri to pursue acting full-time in Los Angeles.
Kebbel began her acting career in the early 2000s, quickly gaining recognition for her roles in television and film. Her early television appearances include guest roles in series such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Judging Amy,” and “Grounded for Life.” She landed a recurring role as Lindsay Lister on The WB’s “Gilmore Girls” from 2003 to 2004, which helped raise her profile.
