Bojana Novakovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Бојана Новаковић; born 17 November 1981) is a Serbian-Australian actress. She was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia). In 1988, at the age of seven, she emigrated with her family to Australia.
Novakovic studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, graduating in 2003. Her sister, Valentina Novakovic, is also an actress.
Novakovic began her acting career in Australia, appearing in television shows such as Heartbreak High, Wildside, and All Saints. She quickly established herself as a versatile performer, transitioning between television and theatre productions.
Her breakthrough role came in the Australian film The Black Balloon (2008), for which she received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a young woman dealing with her autistic brother. This role helped to raise her profile internationally.
