Bryce Dallas Howard was born on March 2, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of actor and director Ron Howard and writer Cheryl Howard. She was raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, and later in Los Angeles. Howard attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, studying at the Stella Adler Conservatory and the Experimental Theatre Wing, but left before graduating to pursue acting opportunities. She also attended Stagedoor Manor performing arts camp.
Howard began her acting career on stage, appearing in productions such as “House & Garden” and “As You Like It.” Her breakthrough role came in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village (2004), which garnered her significant attention. This marked the beginning of her professional film career.
