Caitlin FitzGerald was born on August 25, 1983, in Camden, Maine. Her father, Desmond FitzGerald, was an investment banker, and her mother, Pam Allen, is an author and historian. She is also the granddaughter of Frances FitzGerald, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian. FitzGerald was raised in Maine and attended Concord Academy in Massachusetts before pursuing higher education.
