Camila Carraro Mendes was born on June 29, 1994, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to Brazilian parents. Her mother, Gisele Carraro, is a flight attendant, and her father, Victor Mendes, is a businessman. Due to her parents’ occupations, she moved frequently during her childhood, living in various locations including Florida and Brazil. She spent a year in Brazil at age 10. Mendes graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in May 2016, where she studied acting.
