Camilla Belle Routh, professionally known as Camilla Belle, was born on October 2, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Cristina Gould, is a Brazilian fashion designer, and her father, Jack Wesley Routh, is an American businessman. Belle was raised Roman Catholic and speaks fluent Portuguese.
Belle began her acting career as a child actress. She appeared in several television commercials and minor roles in television series and films during the early to mid-1990s. Her early work includes appearances in the films Annie: A Royal Adventure! (1995) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997).
Belle garnered significant attention for her performance in the film Practical Magic (1998), where she played the younger version of Sandra Bullock’s character.
