Carly Pope began her acting career in the late 1990s, primarily appearing in Canadian television productions. Her early roles included guest appearances in series such as “The X-Files” and “Night Man.” She gained significant recognition for her role as Sam McPherson in the WB teen drama series “Popular,” which ran from 1999 to 2001.
