Ditte Ylva Olsen (born January 3, 1977) is a Danish actress. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Olsen received her formal acting training from the Danish National School of Performing Arts (Statens Scenekunstskole), graduating in 2003.
Olsen’s career spans both stage and screen. She has worked extensively in Danish theatre, appearing in numerous productions. Her screen work includes roles in both film and television series.
Olsen is best known internationally for her role as Johanna in the film The Keeper of Lost Causes (Kvinden i buret) released in 2013, the first film in the Department Q series based on Jussi Adler-Olsen’s novels. She reprised this role in subsequent films in the series.
