Emma-Louise Corrin was born on December 13, 1995, in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. Corrin attended Woldingham School, a Roman Catholic boarding school for girls in Surrey. After taking a gap year, they studied Drama at the University of Bristol before transferring to St John’s College, Cambridge, where they studied English Literature and Education. During their time at Cambridge, Corrin was involved in various theatrical productions.
Corrin’s early career included small roles in television series such as “Grantchester” (2019) and “Pennyworth” (2019). They also appeared in the film “Misbehaviour” (2020).
Corrin gained international recognition for their portrayal of Princess Diana in the fourth season of the Netflix historical drama series “The Crown” (2020). This role earned them widespread critical acclaim and several prestigious awards.
