Evguenya Viktorovna Obraztsova (Russian: Евгения Викторовна Образцова) was born on January 18, 1984, in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia. She is a Russian ballerina and actress.
Obraztsova graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 2002. Immediately upon graduation, she joined the Mariinsky Ballet (formerly the Kirov Ballet) in Saint Petersburg. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a soloist. In 2012, she joined the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow as a prima ballerina.
During her ballet career, she has performed leading roles in classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Raymonda, and La Bayadère. She has toured extensively with both the Mariinsky and Bolshoi Ballet companies, performing on major stages worldwide.
Obraztsova transitioned into acting, appearing in several films. Her acting career is relatively limited compared to her extensive ballet career.
