Faye Grant, born Faye Elizabeth Yoe on July 16, 1957, in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, is an American actress. She was raised in a family with a background in the automotive industry. Before pursuing acting, she attended Western Michigan University.
Grant began her acting career in the late 1970s, primarily focusing on television appearances. Early roles included guest spots on series such as “The Greatest American Hero” and “Voyagers!”.
Grant achieved widespread recognition for her role as Julie Parrish in the NBC miniseries “V” (1983) and its subsequent sequel, “V: The Final Battle” (1984), and the television series “V” (1984-1985). This role established her as a prominent figure in science fiction television.
Following her success with “V,” Grant continued to work extensively in television. She starred in the short-lived series “State of Grace” (2001-2002) and had recurring roles on series such as “7th Heaven” and “Time of Your Life.” She also made guest appearances on numerous other television shows, including “Tales from the Crypt,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and “Private Practice.”
While primarily known for her television work, Grant has also appeared in several films. Her film credits include roles in movies such as “The January Man” (1989), “Internal Affairs” (1990), “Drive Me Crazy” (1999), and “O Lucky Man!” (2004).
