Kiele Michelle Sanchez was born on October 13, 1977, in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended high school there. She is of Puerto Rican and Polish descent.
Sanchez began her acting career after winning the MTV contest “Wanna Be a VJ” in 2000. This led to appearances on MTV and subsequently, acting opportunities. One of her early prominent roles was as Susan in the short-lived TV series “That Was Then” (2002).
Sanchez has an extensive television career, including recurring and starring roles in several notable series. She played Anne Sorelli in “Married to the Kellys” (2003-2004). A significant role was as Nikki Fernandez in the third season of the popular television series “Lost” (2006-2007). She also starred as Callie Cargill in “The Glades” (2010-2013) and Lisa Prince in “Kingdom” (2014-2017), showcasing her versatility across different genres.
While primarily known for her television work, Sanchez has also appeared in several films. Her film credits include roles in movies such as “Road to Paloma” (2014), directed by and starring Jason Momoa, and “The Purge: Anarchy” (2014), a sequel in the popular horror franchise.
