Lake Caroline Bell (born March 24, 1979) is an American actress, screenwriter, director, and producer. She was born in New York City to Harvey Siegel (later Harvey Bell), a real estate developer, and Robin Bell, who owns a design firm. Bell attended The Chapin School in New York and Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut. She later attended Skidmore College before transferring to and graduating from Rose Bruford College in London with a focus on acting.
Bell began her acting career in the early 2000s, with appearances in television shows such as “ER,” “NYPD Blue,” and “The Practice.” She gained recognition for her roles in television series like “Boston Legal” (2004-2006), where she played Sally Heep, and “Surface” (2005-2006). She further established herself with roles in the HBO series “How to Make It in America” (2010-2011) and the Adult Swim series “Childrens Hospital” (2008-2016).
