Before pursuing acting, Antonelli worked as a physical education teacher.

Antonelli began her career in the late 1960s, appearing in television commercials and small roles in films. Her early work included roles in films such as “Le sedicenni” (1965) and “Il magnifico cornuto” (1969). Her breakthrough role came in 1972 with the film “Sessomatto,” directed by Dino Risi. This film established her as a prominent figure in Italian comedy and erotic cinema.
