Lily Jane Collins was born on March 18, 1989, in Guildford, Surrey, England. She is the daughter of English musician Phil Collins and his second wife, Jill Tavelman. When she was seven years old, she moved to Los Angeles, California, following her parents’ divorce. She attended Harvard-Westlake School and studied broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California.
