Rumer Glenn Willis was born on August 16, 1988, in Paducah, Kentucky. She is the eldest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. She was named after the British novelist Rumer Godden.
Willis began her acting career as a child, appearing in films alongside her parents. Her official film debut was in 1995 in the film Now and Then, playing Angela Albertson. She has since pursued a career in acting, appearing in both film and television.
In addition to film, Willis has made numerous television appearances, including guest roles on shows such as CSI: NY, Medium, Hawaii Five-0, and Workaholics. She also had a recurring role on the series Army Wives.
Willis has also worked in theater. In 2015, she made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago.
In 2015, Willis competed on season 20 of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy. They won the competition.
