Tania Raymonde, born Tania Raymonde Katzin on March 22, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress. Her father is French, and her mother is of Russian Jewish descent. She attended Lycée Français de Los Angeles, where she became fluent in French.
Raymonde began her acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in various television shows and films. Her early work included guest appearances on series such as “Malcolm in the Middle,” “The Brothers Garcia,” and “That’s So Raven.”
Raymonde gained wider recognition for her recurring role as Cynthia Sanders on the Fox sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle” (2000-2003). A significant breakthrough came with her role as Alex Rousseau on the ABC drama series “Lost” (2006-2010). This role exposed her to a large international audience and solidified her presence in the industry.
