Victoria Pedretti was born on March 23, 1995, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is of Italian, Jewish, and English descent. Pedretti attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting in 2017.
Pedretti’s professional acting career began shortly after graduating from Carnegie Mellon. Her breakthrough role came in 2018 with the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House, where she portrayed Eleanor “Nell” Crain Vance. Her performance garnered widespread critical acclaim.
Following her success in The Haunting of Hill House, Pedretti continued to work with Netflix, starring in the second season of the anthology series, The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), where she played Dani Clayton. She also starred as Love Quinn in the Netflix thriller series You (seasons 2-4, 2019-2023). Her portrayal of Love Quinn was particularly well-received, solidifying her reputation as a versatile actress capable of complex and nuanced performances.
In 2019, Pedretti made her film debut in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, playing Leslie Van Houten, a member of the Manson Family. She also starred in the 2020 film Shirley, a biographical drama about author Shirley Jackson.
Pedretti received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Streaming Presentation for her role in The Haunting of Hill House.
