Willa Joanna Chance Holland was born on June 18, 1991, in Los Angeles, California, to cinematographer Keith Holland and actress Darnell Gregorio-De Palma. Her mother remarried director Brian De Palma in 1995. Willa spent much of her childhood around film sets due to her parents’ careers.
Holland began her career as a model at the age of seven after being signed to Ford Modeling Agency. She transitioned into acting with appearances in television series such as “The O.C.” (2006-2007), where she played Kaitlin Cooper, the younger sister of Mischa Barton’s character, Marissa Cooper.
